Andrew Munro

Director | Commercial

Andrew Munro is the director of the commercial department at Munro Property for the past seven years. Working in a small team responsible for the management, leasing and sale of commercial and industrial properties throughout Adelaide metro area and over the years we have also been active in regional areas such Clare and Whyalla. Having recently completed the property management certification, I’m also a certified practicing valuer (CPV) as an associate member of the Australian Property Institute (AAPI) and have been a Member of the Real Estate Institute of SA (REISA) for 29 years.

We have helped our loyal clients to manage their high value asses and provided successful outcomes of discreet off market sales and major confidential lease negotiations, with national and government tenants, as well as traditional commercial sales and leasing transactions.

I spent around five years working as a rating and taxing valuer for the for the Office of the Valuer General here in Adelaide, Mt Gambier and Clare and six years as private valuer for an Adelaide valuation firm completing mortgage security valuations.

I started my involvement in the Real Estate industry as a residential property manager in late 1980’s with my father Murray Munro, and I have had the opportunity to work with some of our clients from the start of my career and they have become like a family. It is with this philosophy in mind that I take on the role to treat the client and their property is if where part of our family.

I have a wife and a daughter and we have lived in North Haven for around eleven years, were we enjoy working on the house, spending time with our family, good wine – lucky we have some fantastic Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc and with the Barossa, McLaren Vale and Coonawarra we are spoilt for choice and when I have free time playing the guitar or keeping up to date on the latest crypto currency markets and digital land prices.

Working in the Real Estate Industry is not about the right property, the best tenant, the highest market value, or the most rent, it’s about managing relationships. Expect the best, but be prepared for the worst.
